Growing up in a creative home filled with music, gardening, floral arrangement, and design, I have always been drawn to expressing myself through various artistic mediums. From a young age, I explored my creativity through needlework, photography, and design, taking classes through the High Point Arts Council. In high school, I further honed my design skills as the co-editor of the Yearbook, and I even found joy in refinishing furniture projects.
When it comes to my artistic style, I typically work with acrylics and oil on canvas, watercolor, or pastels on paper. My inspiration stems from nature, and the life in the Lowcountry has been a significant influence on my work. Creating art is my passion and my therapy, providing me with a sense of peace and fulfillment. I specialize in capturing vibrant colors, playing with various tints, shades, and light and shading techniques. My preferred subjects include dogs, landscapes, Lowcountry scenes, florals, architecture, and I also undertake commissioned paintings upon request.
With a diverse background and a deep love for the arts, I bring a unique blend of creativity, expertise, and a keen eye for design to every project I undertake.
