Collection: Haldora
Creativity has been in my soul since my earliest memories as I explored different creative outlets. Drawing figures, faces, doodling on paper or blackboard to making creative mud pies and using old socks found to make doll clothes. I’d watch my mother paint till I was old enough to start using oil paints on my own.
Being shyly reserved in school and escaping thru dance classes, my creative ideas then evolved with fabric which took my career into fashion design and owning my own fashion and retail business. In my spare time I explored other art mediums.
Watercolor, mixed media with paint and fabric, fabric sculptures, clay sculptures, writing poetry and journaling as well working with color, merchandising & visual decor
I left New York moving to South Carolina’s beautiful Low Country as it fed my desire to work again with oil’s.
I love the movement mixing colors, using different tools and surfaces.
My art flows with my moods, swimming in different directions. Exploring new techniques and styles then returning to my old ones. My brain dreams of creating. When I touch, see or dream listening to music and sitting in nature, I'm inspired. Creating is in my soul like a wild boar needing nature, to smell the air after rain and feel the movement of the ocean sounds and smells. It feels natural and healing.
